Trail Point #2 : Lifecycle Service Assurance for NFV
As part of their NFV transformations, providers are increasingly adopting DevOps continuous testing practices which require a unified approach to NFV testing and assurance from infrastructure validation to service testing and operational assurance. Furthermore, adoption of NFV requires integration and closed-loop automation of many testing and assurance processes. Spirent is addressing these challenges by pioneering a new approach to NFV testing and assurance called Lifecycle Service Assurance (LSA). LSA harmonizes and automates testing across lab and production environments and integrates pro-active service quality assurance for virtual and hybrid physical-virtual networks.
At NFV World Congress 2017, Spirent will provide a demonstration of a virtualized Voice over LTE service instantiation with integrated, closed-loop testing and assurance. The demonstration will include NFVi and VNF benchmarking, turn-up verification testing of a vEPC, router and firewall and end-to-end service activation testing. The end-to-end service tests will include performance analysis of the backhaul and mobility networks and quality of experience (QoE)) testing of the Voice over LTE service (MOS). The demonstration will also illustrate how Spirent's architecture supports on-demand services and closed-loop healing via integration with MANO and OSS layers.

Trail Point #4 : NFV MANO and DevOps
RIFT.io will feature multiple NFV MANO demos that show how to radically simplify the onboarding, composition, and launching of VNFs and multi-vendor network services on multiple clouds.
RIFT.io will feature a proof-of-concept demo showcasing management, orchestration, and testing of network services setup, validation, and operation in a DevOps environment, both at design and run time, that features Intel, RIFT.io and Telenor. We will also feature several use-case demos with our ecosystem partners.
RIFT.ware is a model-driven, ETSI-compliant NFV MANO solution and commercial distribution of ETSI open Source MANO (OSM) that simplifies deployment of VNFs and the composition and management of complex network services.
Service providers and network operators use RIFT.ware's MANO capabilities to deploy, orchestrate, and automate multi-vendor, carrier-grade virtualized network services. Network suppliers and VNF builders use RIFT.ware to quickly migrate from proprietary appliances, efficiently build scalable, cloud-native network functions, and ensure orchestration in any service provider's operational environment. VNF solution providers also use RIFT.ware to enhance their solutions with support for 3rd party VNFs.
Trail Point #5 : B4N Service Platform; Extension of CSP's service portfolio with value-added NFV services
Brain4Net will lead a live demonstration of comprehensive NFV Solution and present an implementation of important CSP's business case – extending a service portfolio with value-added NFV services. During the demonstration, we will show the VNF onboarding and management processes, introduce end-to-end service orchestration features, including creation of service chains via the Network Service Configurator.
Brain4Net invites VNF vendors to participate in our certification program and become a part of our wide Partner Ecosystem.

It provides the ability to control costs and profitability within an automated network service environment. For example, enabling a per-service view of licensing costs that correlates and aggregates costs across multiple VNF vendors comprising a service chain, which adapts in real-time as different functions within the chain are scaled in or out.

CPLANE Networks takes a holistic approach for automating the deployment and operations of end-to-end services across virtualized and physical infrastructure.
We demonstrate comprehensive management and orchestration of multi-site services. The common requirements to deploy VNFs across multiple NFVI-PoP controlled by multiple VIMs create significant difficulties for NFVO. CPLANE's MSM product integrates southbound of common NFVO solutions such as rift.io and OSM and provides single standard API interface to multiple OpenStack and other VIMs by implementing inventory, topology and resource management services. These use cases are outlined at ETSI_GS_NFV-EVE_005 document.

Openwave Mobility (OWM) plays at the intersection of Mobility, Video and Cloud. Mobile video will grow 8-fold over the next 5 years. OWM's VNF enables customers to monetize and manage this explosive growth. Our software modules provide video acceleration and congestion management for LTE & 5G networks. We provide an API framework for video identity federation linking CSPs and OTTs while enabling operational visibility into subscriber video QOE and video application usage.
Openwave Mobility will be demonstrating elastic scaling of VNF, video streaming real time quality of experience improvement, app classification and metering and smart identity use cases for encrypted traffic flows.
Trail Point #18 : SD-WAN as a SP Managed Service Offering for Enterprise Customers
In this demo, we'll demonstrate how Juniper's Cloud CPE integrated SD-WAN solution works as a service provider virtual managed service for their enterprise customers: how to use Contrail Service Orchestration as the SP admin portal to easily add tenants, sites, device templates, service profiles, primary and backup WAN links for each application groups, and how to setup a customer device for zero touch connectivity.
In addition, we'll also demonstrate how enterprise customers can log in the self-service portal to configure policies and monitor application performance and WAN links metrics.
