Multi-Vendor Automation for Established IP Networks: A Telefónica Case Study
This Heavy Reading report presents a case study of how Telefónica is automating its IP network to improve network robustness and reliability and automate its disaster recovery. The telecom operator calls the automation initiative R³ (R Cubed), and its ultimate goal is an automated, intent-based IP network. While Telefónica uses several IP router suppliers, the operator selected the Cisco Crosswork Network Automation software family as the R³ foundation.
