NetTA Guidelines, Rules and Procedures
Network Transformation Awards are the Industry’s Premier Awards for Global Leadership & Achievement, which serve to Recognise, Celebrate, and Inspire success in moving the market forward.

Layer123 manages an open and transparent process, so that Awards are made with the highest credibility and integrity. The NetTA Judging Panel is comprised from the industry’s foremost analysts working in the Network Transformation domain. Winners can be confident to receive an authentic Award, that highlights their leadership and achievement, and gives credit to themselves and their company.

The NetTA Guidelines, Rules and Procedures for Submission, Sponsorship, Judging and Announcement are published below. Rules will be expanded where further interpretation or clarification of NetTA policies and procedures is necessary, and published here for reference.

 

Submission

Layer123 welcomes all bona-fide submissions and nominations for Network Transformation Awards.  The process is open to all, without charge.

  1. NetTA is open to any company operating in the telecoms industry worldwide.
  2. Entries must be submitted, written in English, using only the online form >> NetTA Submission Form
  3. Submissions must be received before the published deadline: Friday 18th August.
  4. Entries are open to all and free of charge: Layer123 does not levy an entry fee.
  5. You may submit more than one entry – use a separate NetTA Submission Form for each.
  6. You may enter your own organisation, or on behalf of a different 3rd party - for example, a customer, a supplier, a partner or an individual.
  7. You must inform 3rd parties that they are being nominated, obtain their approval, and provide their own contact email.
  8. 3rd party nominations without valid 3rd party contact information will be disqualified.
  9. You are not required to be a Congress Sponsor or Exhibitor, in order to participate in NetTA.
  10. You are not required to be an Awards Sponsor, in order to participate in NetTA.
  11. Please provide complete responses in your submission (Assessment Points cannot be given by the judges for missing, incomplete or irrelevant information).
  12. All information must be provided using the NetTA Submission Form – no further information about your submission(s) may be provided to Layer123 nor to Judges.
  13. All information provided in the NetTA Submission Forum is considered confidential, and made known only to those involved in the submission and judging process. You may request an NDA, if necessary.
  14. No information about other organisations' submissions is available from Layer123.
  15. Should your submission be shortlisted, the “Public Synopsis” information will be published by Layer123.

Judging

Layer123’s objective is to manage an open and transparent process, so that Awards are made with the highest credibility and integrity. The NetTA Judging Panel is comprised from the industry’s foremost analysts working in the Network Transformation domain, who are highly regarded for their breadth of knowledge and expertise. Judges are required to work impartially, and within these Rules; Layer123 thanks them for their time, participation and support.

  1. Layer123 is unable to provide more details about the NetTA judging process: all available information is published openly on this webpage.
  2. If there are insufficient nominations for an Award category, it may be merged with another at Layer123’s discretion.
  3. If an Award category is over-subscribed, one or more related categories may be created at Layer123’s discretion.
  4. Entries are judged independently by a public panel of top analysts, under NDA.
  5. Layer123 does not influence or over-ride the assessment of Judges.
  6. Judges are invited solely from SDN NFV Congress Analyst Partners, at Layer123’s discretion.
  7. All submissions are assessed against published criteria and graded using Assessment Points.
  8. Judges will use only the specific information provided in the NetTA Submission Forms, also informed by their market knowledge and experience.
  9. No further information about your submission(s) may be provided to Layer123 nor to Judges, after the close of nominations.
  10. Judges may not accept or request additional information from organisations about their NetTA submission(s).
  11. Judges may not accept offers or other inducements to influence a favourable outcome.
  12. Judges do not receive financial compensation from Layer123 for their participation; Judges receive a complimentary reservation at the NetTA Gala Dinner.
  13. Judges assess multiple entries across multiple categories on a matrix basis; no one Judge is responsible for any one outcome.
  14. Judges have no way of knowing who the winners of particular Awards will be.
  15. Organisations may not contact Judges about their own NetTA submissions, other organisations’ submissions, or their role in the NetTA judging process.
  16. Organisations found to be engaging in unfair practice, any breach of these Rules, or behaviour bringing NetTA into disrepute, will be disqualified from participation.
  17. Judges found to be engaging in unfair practice, any breach of these Rules, or behaviour bringing NetTA into disrepute, will be barred from the NetTA Judging Panel.

Announcement

  1. A shortlist of nominations per Award category will be published and featured, using the Public Synopsis information provided in the NetTA Submission Form.
  2. The NetTA Shortlist will be published Wednesday 20th September.
  3. NetTA winners are announced during the NetTA Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony.
  4. No pre-announcement of winners or other awarding information is available beforehand to any organisation, without exception.
  5. Organisations may not contact Layer123 or Judges, in order to discover information about winners; no Judge has this information.
  6. Winners must be present at the Gala Dinner, in order to receive any Award and their trophy.
  7. NetTA winners are featured prominently by Layer123, during and after the Congress.
  8. NetTA winners are featured across major media channels including Capacity, Official Media Partner, and Telecom TV, Official TV Partner for the NetTAs.
  9. "NetTA winner" promotional graphics/logo will be distributed to all winners within 24 hours of announcement at the NetTA Gala Dinner.
