After the great success of the first Microwave event last year, the feedback this year has been overwhelmingly positive, and anyone present could feel the enthusiasm evident in the atmosphere.

All the statistics are heading in the right direction: the overall registrations/attendance of the event has grown nearly 10% and with a much larger exhibition, while the number of operator delegates has jumped by over 30%.  In 2012, over 200 registrations were received, with 170 actually attending, with a good balance of returning delegates and new faces, and with an excellent 50% proportion of vendor representatives.

In 2013, Layer123 believes that “Packet Microwave and Mobile Backhaul” will continue to grow as not only the most significant, but also the largest meeting place for this important network area in Europe.

We hope the industry will make still further use of the event as a platform to showcase innovation and applications, and to help move this market forward in supporting customers' requirements.  Layer123 thanks EE for its Founding and consistent support as Lead Operator, together with all the event partners, sponsors and delegates - and looks forward to the next planning cycle.
