Deliver a better user experience on the mobile Internet and cut costs up to 50% as you increase revenue opportunities.

More than ever, smartphone users are on the go, downloading video and sharing rich content. Tellabs' survey of 15,000 mobile users in 15 countries shows that 63% want smart, personalised mobile Internet services now.

This impending deluge of data traffic can overload your mobile network. Yet users still expect the high quality of service they get from wired Internet connections.

As users choose "over the top" content, one challenge is to keep mobile networks from becoming "dumb pipes." Now you can add network intelligence that transforms the user experience. And optimise network performance with a purpose-built solution for mobile Internet needs.

Tellabs innovations enable the mobile Internet and help our customers succeed. That’s why 44 of the top 50 global communications service providers choose our mobile, optical, business and services solutions. We help them get ahead by adding revenue, reducing expenses and optimising networks.

IEEE 1588 Conformity Alliance

The IEEE 1588 Conformity Alliance is an IEEE Conformity Assessment Program (ICAP) with the mission to promote the IEEE 1588 "Standard for a Precision Clock Synchronization Protocol for Networked Measurement and Control Systems" as the de-facto standard for synchronization delivery over packet networks.

To accomplish this goal, the Alliance is developing the industry’s first IEEE 1588 certification program to recognise the ability of specific implementations to meet the conformance requirements with the IEEE 1588 standard.

The Alliance will develop a library of both technical and business-oriented material to create awareness within the industry of the benefits and advantages of adopting the 1588 standard. The Alliance will build industry awareness by presenting its library of expert knowledge on synchronization delivery through a variety of outlets including via our web and through participation in various industry conferences and events throughout the year.
